This iSkin does an excellent job in protection your macbook from crumbs or dust that may inadvertantly enter your keyboard. It took a little while to get used to the feel, but it is easy to use. I haven't washed it, but it is easy to remove if you desire. IT fits like a glove over the keys. It takes a little work, but once you get it over the keys (take your time) it fits well. Beware it may leave a slight imprint on screen but is not visible when in use only when the screen is turned off. I used screen cleaner and it cleaned right up. IT's well worth protecting your macbook. It's glow in the dark features only work though when the screen is not on. The keys are very easy to read and do not wear off with 4 months of use.

I think I had expectations that were too high. This DID fit pretty well over most of the keys, but the bottom two rows, especially the space bar row, didn't fit tightly and so got in the way of normal typing.
It's ok, if you don't type too fast, but it was slowing me down.
My real complaint is the company's return policy. This is my own fault for not reading the return policy first -- caveat emptor! But beware that they charge a 20% restocking fee on any return that has been opened. This was a $20 item -- it carried an $8 shipping charge (should have paid closer attention to that, too, but it was part of a larger order). By the time I pay return shipping and get dinged with a ridiculous restocking fee, I'd have spent probably another $10. Not worth it. I'll hold onto the thing -- maybe in a really filthy environment (which I'm heading to shortly), the benefits will outweigh the slowed typing. Bottom line -- make sure you know that whatever you're ordering will really work for you!

This is a great product that fits snug over your keyboard and keeps your keyboard and keys clean.
I worked in Yosemite National Park the summer I got my Mac (White MacBook). Because of all the dust and everything my keys got dirty. But that goes for anywhere. When I went back to school in the fall I cleaned my cleaned my keyboard extra clean but they still got dirty. So that is when I got this.
This little cover is great. I keeps this clean and it removes/quites the noise made when typing. It's not as load with the clicking. And this is very easy to clean.
The only problem with this is that it is for the later MacBook's (I believe the Intel Core Duo. NOT the Intel Core 2 Duo, which is what I have). I fits just the same but the only difference is the top function buttons. The print on the keys is different then the print on actual MacBook keys.

There is no doubt that this product will extend the life of my MacBook. The letters were getting scratched off of the keys because of my fingernails. Now that I have the sleeve, the damage has been halted. After one day of getting used to the sleeve, I am able to type with the same ease I always have. Highly recommended.

This keyboard protector fits my Mac flawlessly, much better 'fit and finish' than other similar products. Cleanup is easy - just wash it in the sink and dry it off with towels. The home key bumps are molded in, and it's pleasant to type on if you're comfortable with the texture. It also quiets the clicky keys, so if you are a touch typist that makes the MacBook sound like a gatling gun, those near you will thank you for buying this product.
