| Great Keyboard could be better |
| I have owned 2 of these keyboards, the first one I purchased back in 1999. I loved the placement of the large trackball. It lasted about 5 years and it worked great, the next one I purchased had problems. It would randomly not type letters, there is nothing like writing an entire email and then noticing that all the D's are missing or some other letter. The other problem it had was that the mouse would get a mind of it's own, if left alone the mouse would randomly wander around the screen in little jerks. I contacted the manufacturer and had a lot of trouble getting it replaced. The manufacturer said I had to return it to the retailer I bought it from, and the retailer said I had to return it to the manufacturer. I finally got the manufacturer to replace it, however the new one still had the problem with the keyboard, but with different letters. I finally had to Frankenstein the keyboard using my old keyboard with the new trackball. The other problem this keyboard has is that the trackball rollers constantly need cleaning, so much so that I had to leave the keyboard screws out as I was opening it at least twice a week. I would only recommend this keyboard if the trackball sensor wheels were replaced with an optical system.
