| Keyboard & Mouse both are lousy |
| I bought this wireless keyboard/mouse combo, because I wanted a better keyboard for my laptop, to use at home with my external monitor. The key layout is not the same as most keyboards, the | and \ keys are moved, and the Enter key is large and takes the place where the |\ key should be, causing me to hit Enter instead of \ when running Microsoft Windows. Plus the mouse is very low resolution, causing jitters even when the remote receiver is placed a suffient distance from the monitor & laptop. I took the batteries out of the mouse and don't use it, opting for my Logitech instead. The keyboard does not come with drivers, just crappy software. The driver doesn't load correctly when I plug it into my USB Hub any longer. It did for the first week or two, but then quit working. Uninstall/reinstall and all the other normal tricks didn't help. I finally discovered that it I plug it into another USB port directly, it will work, but I worry, "for how long will it work?" My recommendation is to buy a better brand, and make sure the keys feel solid under your fingers. If they won't let you try it; don't buy it!
| | Not same item we got - One we got was real badddddddddd |
| We got an Innovera but it did not have the charge station like the one shown in this ad. Ours used a USB receiver instead and a USB cable to charge the mouse. The image on the screen would jump up and down intermittenly while on the internet which drove us completely nutty. We called and ordered a replacement (we were told to keep the old one and use it as a paper weight). So now about the replacement: without pressing down with about 20 lbs of pressure onto the mouse, it wouldn't work or move at all. We finally trashed it and said forget it as we have too many things to do to contiinue fighting with junk. As the old addage goes: "you get what you pay for". Pay cheap prices, you get cheap products. Hey, we still have the oversized paperwight if anyone is interested!!!
| | arrived dead - half dead to be exact |
| The mouse works fine, but the keyboard is only half good, or half dead, on arrival. Half of the keys dont respond no matter how hard i try. Ironically, on the bottom of the thing, there is a stick 'Q/C passed'. What a quality piece of junk!
| | If cords get on your nerves then this is the product for you. The mouse station allows you to dock your mouse so it can charge. Don't have to worry about replacing the AA batteries all the time. Good response time with both items. You'd swear that it is on a cord. Nice for people who like to lean back in chair with feet up and type in lap. Perfect for people who use their TV as the computer monitor. I've had the keyboard on my couch and used the mouse (about 6 feet from the tower) and have had absolutely NO loss of signal. You'll like this product.
