| an excellent product without issues or glitches. Excellent battery life. Mouse and keyboard are essentially always on, 24-7, and i have not replaced the generic "included batteries." Fast typing, scrolling, and browsing. Some very nice and easy to use keyboard (and mouse) shortcuts. The back and forward button on the mouse are very handy when using the internet, i-tunes, power point, etc. Compact profile, not bulky. Even the usb that connect to the computer is small. Literally no wires. Very user friendly. Nothing to download when you start up, just insert batteries, plug usb, start using. Does not feel like cheap material. An all round excellent product. Would highly recommend it.
| | If your looking for a fair low cost keyboard and mouse combo this might work for you... and that's a might. When first receiving my combo I was happy with the overall appearance and light weight set, the packaging was ok. Included is a very brief manual in several languages, batteries and the keyboard + mouse. The color is a slight blue/gray not black and not just gray. The keyboard does have quite a few special feature keys but none are programable to other functions. My only real problem came with the mouse, which after placing the batteries in the battery compartment and closing the lid the power would cut out and the mouse was un-usable. This was caused by a mold problem in the battery compartment and after cutting away a piece of the plastic was able to close the lid and still have power to the mouse. I was then shocked that the mouse would stop working after a time of not being used, it seems to have a built in function for battery storage and goes "to sleep" after about 5 minutes of setting still. Moving the mouse won't turn it back on, you have to click the left button and wait a short time for it to startup and work again. If you want better funtionality and programable keys you might want a Logitech or Microsoft product.
| | Overall if you're looking for a good wireless set for little money, this is what I recommend. Unfortunately, my product purchased through Electronica Direct was defective. It was labled as "new product" but when it came if was an open box item. The Keyboard was very comfortable, the keys felt very nice, but were a little tougher to push down. Obviously something easily gotten used to, but thats at first touch. The mouse felt very comfortable in my hand as well, but as for the extra keys by the scroll I could not tell you. Did not get a chance for full use.
[foot note- My product was defective because the mouse would not turn on, or show any signs of being powered after 4 or 5 sets of batteries, and the zero key on the keypad stuck.]
