| Glad but one little thing missing |
| This keyboard is great, ergonomic and solid. But the lack of software to control the touchpad sensitivity is why I did not rated it five stars.
| | Can't figure out how to disable tap-click!! |
| So I bought this keyboard.
It's ergonomic. Plenty of handy keys for music control and all that kinda stuff.
I used it for Mac and PC, no problems there.
But there was one major problem that kind of killed it's fun for me. I can't disable tap-click!!! So basically, the trackpad keeps on clicking everywhere, when I touch the trackpad by accident. I might be trying to move the cursor, and instead it clicks.
There are already two buttons below, so why does the trackpad need to click? It really makes the keyboard useless for gaming.
Also, the trackpad buttons are too small and oddly shaped. There is a massive gap inbetween them, right where I would normally press to click. So most of the time I end up hitting hard plastic and not clicking anything.
I got this keyboard because I had a small "keyboard slider" under my desk that couldn't fit a keyboard + mouse. So I thought "why not just get a keyboard with a trackpad built in? After all, I use those on my laptop just fine".
Turns out it's impossible to find a GOOD keyboard + trackpad, at least one that lets me disable the stupid tapclick thing so I can play games.
I'll just have to remove the keyboard slider under my desk instead, and use a normal keyboard + mouse ontop of my desk. Sigh.
If you don't play games, this keyboard will probably be good for you.
