    Defective paint on keys
In only about 6 months the paint on the keys are worn off badly. About half a dozen keys I can't barely even see! The 'N' which really among all the keys is completely gone! And Microsoft DOES NOT stand behind their products saying normal wear and tear is not covered! So basically I am screwed and they would replace it but it would cost me more than I paid for it originally! I WILL NEVER purchase another hardware product from Microsoft since they don't stand behind their products anymore!
Very Silent. Great on the Wrist.
I love the contour on this keyboard. I thought I was in love with the original split keyboard that Microsoft introduced years ago (I last had the Natural Wireless Multimedia Elite KB, which is so much better than the original one, but it's pretty much the same contour), and that I'd have a problem with this new contour. But after only a few minutes of typing, it's safe to say that I got used to it. And as if possible, the soft curve on this one feels even better on the left wrist than the original one.

The Delete/Insert key layout has been changed yet again, but I didn't mind it so much. The Zoom-wheel in the middle is pretty useful once you remember to start using it. Customizable keys are pretty awesome since you can program them to start your favorite programs -- but this is about the same as my old Natural Elite. With this keyboard, you barely have to use the mouse. The numeric keys are fine. Overall, this is about the most silent keyboard I have ever owned. Works equally well on XP as well as Vista -- I am currently using an old IOGear KVM switch between two PC's, which seems to work fine. Had to install the driver for XP to get all the functionality (customizing the buttons, etc.). Had to do absolutely nothing for Vista -- it was plug and go (or play!).

I'm so glad there's a company out there with untold millions to spend on research, and has expert researchers testing out the stress points on the wrists and arms. Being a heavy typist, I can ill-afford any additional stress on the wrists. Having tried pretty much everything out there right now, I can safely say that this is the best possible keyboard. If you are a touch typist who would like to alleviate stress on your wrists, this is absolutely the way to go.
