| I first tried Adesso wireless keyboard with touchpad, but returned it and tried this one instead.
Build quality is good. Laptop-type scissor-key action feel is uniform, firmer than average, but some after-travel after the key engages gives a bit mushy feel.
The touchpad works better than the one on Adesso and located more conveniently so you don't have to stretch your thumb too far.
One thing to be aware of: the cord is only 2ft long.
| | Functional, but not a quality product |
| This product is functional but simply not a quality built product, and therefore will work well for some people, and not for others.
The color is slightly darker grey than the picture, and doesn't look bad sitting beside the black media gear and TV.
We have it attached to our mediacenter PC running windows XP, that is connected to an LCD TV.
The keyboard is very light. I wish it weighed a few ounces more; would really like an aluminum case.
The biggest drawback is the tiny touchpad, and small poorly placed mouse keys. The keys themselves take considerable pressure to operate. We often play games on this computer (nothing fast paced), and the touchpad and mouse buttons are not very practical for this application.
I would not buy again for our use, but for a computer that is not used often, such as a server, it would work well.
Note the we have purchased both the *Motion* brand and the *Odesso* Brand, and compared them side by side. They may supposedly be different brands, but they look identical other than the color of the plastic trim, obviously off the same assembly line.
