| I am a heavy duty computer user. I game and also work at a computer. I literally wear the letters off the keys before the warranty runs out 8P This product is a fantastic deal for the buck. It has a really cool on screen display that tells you when you activate caps lock or number lock. It doesn't "stay on" it just flashes for a second. I was worried this feature would interfere with my gaming or other programs, but it actually is very bug-proof. The mouse is nice, good feel. I think the center wheel gives pretty decent precision between clicks. The keyboard has all the standard features you would find - the shortcut keys and battery indicator, ... but it's very compact. No giant wrist pad or other flash and bling that is not needed. I have been using the high priced Microsoft Laser keyboard/mouse bundle (double this one in price.) I got this one for work and I'm going to replace my Microsoft one at home with this one. The Microsoft bundle didn't even last six months. This one is much better all around, and with all the various programs I use? It givees me a LOT less hassles. Better signal strength, better form, easier software to configure, just seems like an all around better product. It's a keeper for the price!
| | I took a chance and purchased this product with no review available. And, I love it! Keyboard is light, keys on the keyboard are spaced slightly so there is no accidental hitting of the wrong key, and mouse is comfortable. I would 100% recommend.
| | I bought this keyboard to use with my home theater pc. At first I thought it didn't work at all then, by chance, I was using it standing near the PC and it worked. After calling tech support I confirmed that this uses the 27 MHz band which gives you a max distance from the receiver of 6 feet.
I carefully searched the product info on the logitech web site and nowhere does it mention this limitation
It's one thing to sell a product that has a certain limitation. It's another thing all together to do so without telling you about it.
| | only cons are slightly flat keyboard, heavy mouse |
| The cordless keyboard has good spacing and key touch. I especially like the over-sized Delete key. My only keyboard complaint is that the height adjustment (pop-out feet) allows only one level and is not high enough; the plane of the keyboard surface is slightly flatter than my other keyboards.
The mouse is accurate and quick. This is my first cordless mouse; I am still adjusting to the extra weight from the batteries. Also, I have to remember turn off the mouse to save batteries - on the second set already.
I use the keyboard and mouse at a desk in the same manner as corded devices. The nice part is when I rearrange my work area - three computers - the "pieces" are easier to shuffle without a tangle of cords. I own other Logitech products and have always been satisfied with the quality, reliably, and easy operation.
| | Great for living room computer! |
| When I bought this set I was specifically looking for a wireless set that could work across my living room. This does exactly that, I can use it from my sofa (11 feet as measured) without any problems, errors, or disconnections. Also the programmability is excellent. There are a number of customizable keys on the keyboard as well as fine tuning performance adjustments for the mouse (e.g. scroll speed, what each button does, etc.). I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a set to span distances!
