This keyboard has a lot of neat features, but they usually end up coming short. First is the mouse, it has a docking station on the keyboard so it doesn't die really quick, the problem is getting it to dock. Its not that it can't be done, it just takes a while to find the docks "sweet spot". Also note that the mouse has to be within about 3 feet of the usb transmitter to work right, don't plan on sitting far away (there is an included usb extension!). Then there's the keyboard itself. The keyboard is great for everyday use and the slim design is really pleasing to the eye. Do not try to game with this keyboard though! The arrow keys are kind of cheap. The strangest thing about this keyboard is the picture frame underneath it... why is it there? It doesn't detract from the keyboard, its just strange though. Overall this set is worth the money if you sit close to your computer and don't plan on gaming. I would give it 3.5/5 if it was an option.

| If you use Mac OS and Windows Vista |
|
The major advantage of this keyboard is it's great versatility for those who use both Mac OS and Windows Vista on an Apple computer. The keyboard has the main keys for both operating systems, including a window key and an apple key. It makes the transition between systems very easy, with no adaptation necessary such as with Apple or Microsoft keyboards only. Although not blue tooth the wireless connection works flawlessly.

| Wireless connection spotty |
|
I read the prior reviews before purchasing this keyboard. Although some folks mentioned that the keyboard looses connection, I thought maybe it was isolated to their own hardware issues. Unfortunately, I have the same problem now. I purchased the keyboard/mouse for work 4 months ago and there is nothing more frustrating than trying to fire off emails and have your keys not function. To fix it I need to remove the USB antenna and reinsert it into my laptop.
If you are comfortable plugging in the antennae 4-5 times a day this is the keyboard for you. Aside from this, everything else about the keyboard and mouse is great.
I remain disappointed that I need to go back and shop for a new wireless keyboard and mouse. I do love the layout, low profile and responsiveness (when it's working).

I bought this keyboard because I was looking for a flat model similar to laptop keyboards and also for a wireless set. I was so hopeful because it was everything I was looking for but it seems to have a limited wireless connection, Even when the USB is plugged in only a few inches away it misses keystrokes and the mouse cuts out.
I just bought a wired set from logitech... don't want to take a chance on another cordless.

The keyboard and mouse stalls alot and doesn't respond. Sometime just refuses to quit and not work at all. Most of the time it works fine. Maybe this Kensington model has a mind on its own. I would have a gotten a Logitech if I knew these problems existed. I am a user of this unit for three month now. I give it a two star.
