| Good product if somewhat troublesome |

This keyboard is a must have if you are going to use excel or word with a pda. The rechargeable batteries that come with it are a real plus too and it has decent battery life. The only annoying thing is the connection process. The keyboard loses connection if idle for an extended amount of time(as in about 5-10 minutes) also connecting the device is a pain. You have to initialize the pda every time you want to connect the device and repeat the setup process for every connection. Its a bit of a pain to connect it but other than that this thing is awesome.

I have spent almost a year arguing with HP customer service about this item. You can't turn it off; it drains the batteries. The only solution, an inconvenient one, is to remove the batteries after each use. The part that angers me is that for nine months customer service led me to believe that the problem was a fault in the specific keyboard I had, and sent me replacements, in most cases the wrong model. finally, they admitted that it was a design fault. If I had known this in the first place, I would have been able to return it within Amazon's 30-day return policy. HP will next hear from me in Small Claims Court.

Doesn't deserve a rating. A real waste of money as they never worked.
I didn't try to send them back, my bad. I would have been better off just flushing that money.

| Works okay but slow startup |
|
Works okay, but goes to sleep too soon and that is not adjustable. When starting up, it will usually miss the first 4 to 6 keystrokes. That takes a bit of getting used to..... Perhaps I will eventually remember to hold the shift or control key down for 3-5 seconds before I begin typing.... Or maybe it will have a sudden (catastrophic) collision with the wall or perhaps the floor when I discover ONCE AGAIN that it went to sleep in the middle of a paragraph..... NOT RECOMMENDED (not even for email)
