| GE Ho98757 Retractable Number Pad |
|
The flexibility of this product is outstanding. This works well with my iBook laptop. I love the fact that the USB cable is retractable. This allows me to position the number pad in any position that I want. When I finish with the number pad, the cable retracts -- making this extremely easy to pack up and put away -- no dangling cables to wind up. I recommend this product without hesitation. Well worth the price.

| For light use not bad for the money |

This is a good light use number pad. General Electric is a good brand. The retractable cord is a great idea for traveling because your cords don't get tangled. The number keys are small as is common for this type of device. For the money it's a good value as long as it is for light use. For heavy business use I suggest Logitech cordless number pad.

Light and compact. I hate using the number keys on my laptop and this is a godsend when entering large amounts of IP Addresses at work. Love it and can't live without it!

This is a handy little device that makes number punching a lot easier on my laptop. The retractable cable leaves just enough cable on my table so that there is not a mess of extra to deal with. Also, packing this up to take to the library is effortless as the cable retracts in a flash and the device is quite slim.
However, I have a few concerns with this product.
-The rubber feet on this are quite hard, so they do not really cling all that well to some surfaces. If you were to use this exclusively for 10-key data entry, this may become very frustrating as it slides around a little.
-When used for the first time after my laptop hibernates, the first button I punch often does not register. This is sometime hard to keep in mind which is minimally frustrating.
