| I have been using this for my HTPC for about 2 weeks now and am very impressed with it. It's plug and play with Vista, all of the remote functions work with Media Center, and the range seems great! It has a low joystick style mouse built it which feels like a cross between an actual joystick and an eraserhead style mouse. It's very easy to use and it's made of a very sticky rubber with a slight depression in the top for your thumb, which is also a nice feature. And to top it all off, it actually looks pretty slick too. The only issue I have experienced so far is that the mouse occasionally drags a little bit if the computer is working on something, but it doesn't happen often enough or cause enough of problem to lower it from 5 stars in my opinion.
| | I bought this because the Microsoft equivilant was discontinued.
It took a long time to get the hang of the joystick/mouse and it really should be easier than it is. I've tweaked Windows' mouse settings and that's helped.
For sitting on the couch with this on your lap controlling a PC across the room, it's a good buy.

| Had this keyboard for almost a year now, and it works great with my HTPC. Range is excellent, works from 25-30ft away, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. The pointer thingy takes a little getting used to, but works well. Only problem so far is that it's too easy to accidentally hit the power/sleep button that's directly above the pointer, but that only happened 3 or 4 times, and not for months now...
Anyway, highly recommend it, would be 5 stars but the WAF is just under 100% . If you don't know what WAF is, then don't worry, and this will be perfect! :)
| | Its a great product for people that have a computer hooked up in their bedroom/living room LCD/Plasma TV's
pros
wireless
battery life lasts very long
intergrated mouse
cons
the mouse may be hard to get use to "for some"
| | Had this keyboard for a month before the joystick/mouse gave out. Took it apart and it consists of a thin plastic ring that easily snaps off after use. I've pulled it apart 3 times and repaired it with some glue but I keep having issues with it. Go with a touchpad or track ball keyboard instead.
