Awesome keyboard! Great tactile feel and really good value!
This is a pretty sleek looking keyboard, both in the color combination and the slimness of it. It also takes up way less desk space than my previous Logitech. The keyboard itself feels like some really good laptop keys, ie. the newer Dell laptops or the Thinkpads. It's comfortable, quiet, has short key stroke travel length, has positive feedback, and just feels really good.

I've been in the market for a new keyboard for the last 3 weeks, and just happened to run into the UL version of this keyboard at Fry's Electronic. I was going to buy that one until I found this version. I don't need the fancy look of the UL and this is way cheaper.

The only complaints that I have is that the keys are little too flushed to the frame, which is more noticeable with the arrow keys and the insert/home/delete/end/page up/page down keys. Also, the media buttons could have better feedback and the volume buttons could be more separated from the other group, just to make them easier to find. These are all prety minor detriments, though.

Ovrall, this is definitely a real good buy from the looks and performance department! If BTC makes a wireless version, I think I would have my perfect keyboard.
    Scissor-switch keyboard
This is a pretty good keyboard. Like another reviewer said, some of the keys are too flush to the keyboard. The arrow keys can be a tad difficult to hit and the "media" keys are almost recessed and require you to kind of dig your finger into them. However, it's nothing that really holds me back and I type constantly, 40 hours a week. The media keys include volume control and Internet home page, which I use a lot. What I really like is the scissor-switch key action, which is crisp and never mushy or resistant. The layout on this version is normal, so there is no learning curve where you have to figure out where they put the delete key.

My only problem is that I spilled a small amount of water on the bottom left corner of the keyboard and a few hours later the "A" stopped working. I haven't even had it 6 months - even though I was at fault, it was a small amount of water, nothing sticky, so I question the durability. I am awaiting the arrival of the backlit version of this keyboard and hope that I have better luck and easier typing in the dark.
