| I've put 100 hours a week on mine for almost 2 years now. Until I got this board I was wearing out two plunger types a year. Scissor key mechanisms are as tight as they were new. Great feel lets you sustain great speeds. Leaving the numeric keypad off the board is a great advantage. You can put the mouse right where it ought to be. This is an absolute 5-star product in my view, and the only keyboard design for most users (who rarely if ever use a numeric pad). I really don't know anybody who has wore out as many keyboards. With this one, I haven't even run into a period where the keys are not behaving the way they were new yet.

| Over the years, I've tried a wide range of keyboards of different sizes and ergonomic twists. I found this one to be the best fit for me, and ironically the cheapest.
The keys are perfectly sized and beveled. The key travel and feedback is perfect to my touch, which gives me confidence and increases my typing speed. A huge advantage is the fact it is a mini, which reduces the strain from repeatedly reaching for the mouse. Since I switched, my shoulder and carpal pain/discomfort has almost disappeared. It is also extremely quiet.
Having the Ctrl and Alt keys on both sides is a plus, a missing feature from other minis.
I don't care about nor use the multimedia keys, but it's a nice addition to those who'd use them.

| A full sized keyboard was just too wide for my grandma who was always turning it sideways to use the mouse a bit closer to the center of the keyboard shelf in her computer stand.
I got this keyboard based on some reviews and because it has a sleep button (which a lot of smaller keyboards don't have) as well as other multimedia keys.
The keyboard feels very solidly built and works well. Pressing the keys feels just like a normal good quality keyboard (this is due to the scissor-type keyboard design). The software is not supplied in the box but easily downloadable from the BTC website.
The software does look a bit crappy, blocky system tray icon and the installation prompts look like one of those old-style 16-bit applications from years ago! But I am not going to mark this product down for that, the software works if needed so no problems.
I should point out that you only need the software to use the multimedia keys, and then only if you connect it via USB. I found out that this keyboard works perfectly when connected to a PC's PS2 port via one of those USB to PS2 adapters. Through the PS2 adapter no software is required and all the multimedia keys work just fine.
Overall, you can't go wrong for $20 delivered.
| | This keyboard fit all the criteria I was looking for:
- Small enough (<13") to fit on a under-the-desk tray/lapdesk with a mouse
- Standard size keys
- Keys are in the standard places ecspecially the delete, backspace, punctuation (important as I write software). The keys are layed out as they are on a laptops I have used (Dell and IBM) except the home/end/pagedown/pageup keys are to the right of the enter key and not in the top right corner.
- The action of the keys feel good (like a good laptop keyboard)
I have tried other mini keyboards but each had problems (small keys, non-standard key placement). With Windows XP, the media keys (email, browser, volume) work fine with no installation of a driver.
This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for.

| Bought this after reading the glowing reviews, and they're spot-on. Top-notch form and function. It's sleek and thin, and the low-profile keys are unfailingly responsive. I'm extremely impressed with the overall quality and feel of the keyboard.
On a side note, a little googling will reveal an even cheaper price on this keyboard by Amazon vendor DBroth through a competing site. I bought mine through DBroth, and they couldn't have been more professional and speedy in their service, but it's a rather odd discrepancy.
